You see I’ve been working online for a while now, and have discovered the good, the bad and the ugly of Internet marketing.  It’s possible to earn some great money online, but many people spend years and a great deal of money getting absolutely nowhere.

Who am I?

I grew up just outside of Melbourne, that’s right, I am Australian, and moved to the tropics of North Queensland when I was 17.  Most of my work was in sales and marketing, but by far the most interesting time was the last few years.  I started a business which involved importing furniture and garden products from Indonesia and Vietnam.  After many visits to different parts of Indonesia, I decided to re-locate here and I now live in Ubud, on the island of Bali.

Is any of this important.  Well I would like you to know that I am a real person, and to let you know that the business I started cost me over $200,000 to set up.  It took two years to turn a profit, and that was two years of extremely hard work.

Internet marketing on the other hand, allows you to start a business with almost zero set up costs.  All you need is an internet connection, some time, and the desire to learn.

My business now is very much different.  The only overheads I have is the cost of my internet connection.  I work as much or as little as I like, and I determine the hours I want to work.

I have worked on a number of different techniques of affiliate marketing.  I have some Adsense sites that earn me a little money, and have quite a few small sites in niche markets.  Some have been worthwhile, others have been total losers.

Everyone will tell you that to be successful in this business, you need to build a list.  I spent a lot of time and did heaps of research to find the person I wanted to work with to help build my list.
